Registered Behavior Analysis Interventionist

For My Prospective Client/Client’s Family

This document is designed to inform you about my background and ensure that you understand our professional relationship.

AREAS OF EXPERTISE

I entered the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) in July of 2024. Prior to entering the field, I worked for four years with children between the ages of one month to thirteen years. I have a background in psychology at Portland State University.  I plan to complete my degree in the future.  I have learned that ABA is about meeting an individual where they are and tapping into that individual’s full potential. My training as a registered behavior analysis interventionist (RBAI) has taught me how to implement natural environment teaching (NET), discrete trials, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) skills, as well as utilize shaping and fading techniques. Being in the early stages as a RBAI, there is much skill-building ahead of me. I plan to approach each experience as a learning opportunity by keeping an open mind and doing what is necessary to be the best RBAI I can be.
