This document is designed to inform you about my background and ensure that you understand our professional relationship.
AREAS OF EXPERTISE
I have been working in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis at the technician level since 2012, implementing programming designed by behavior analysts for individuals with autism spectrum disorder ages 18 months – 17 years across home, clinic, school, and community settings. I am excited to have begun my further education journey to ultimately pursue becoming a BCBA, and am currently working towards an Associate’s of Science at Portland Community College. I hold both the RBAI credential through the state of Oregon and the RBT credential through the BACB, and I am also actively trained in Safety CareTM. My experience includes implementation of discrete trials, natural environment teaching, behavior intervention/reduction plans, precision teaching, fluency- based instruction, trauma-informed care, and AAC communication. I am passionate about establishing meaningful connections with each and every individual I work with, discovering their interests and talents, and capturing their motivation so that I may provide meaningful reinforcement in order to help shape their skills and set them up for success!
